An information session will be held for the community about the palliative care
services that are available in the Northern Tasmania including:


The services available for public and private inpatients

The community based services available in the region

Other support services that are available

How to be referred into services

Support services that are available for patients and families

How to get further information

Guest speakers will come from all areas of the palliative care sector and
will include

Dying to Know Day Cemetery Tours of Tasmania

Join us this Dying to Know Day on a journey back in time to the final resting places of the well known and the unknown, the infamous and the innocent , with guided tours of three of Tasmania’s iconic cemeteries

These tours are free of charge as part of PCT's Dying to Know Day Celebration.

Please note;comfortable walking shoes need to be worn at all venues; walkers need to be at the designated meeting area 15 minutes before the start time. Start time in Hobart is later than other venues.

  • Hear the stories of Hospice Volunteers and patients that will touch you and give you food for thought!
  • Square Peg Theatre Company - Not Dead Yet! A black comedy and gentle tragedy about facing the final curtain
